The Leveraged Financing/Heightened Standards team is responsible for ensuring the firm's regulatory compliance with and maintaining a robust governance framework around the Interagency Leveraged Lending Guidelines and the OCC's Heightened Standards for Large Financial Institutions. The team works directly with Credit Officers in the Wholesale Credit Risk ('WCR') organization on the origination and monitoring of Committed Leveraged Finance and other exposures in the Wholesale Credit Portfolio. The team is part of the broader WCR regulatory and strategy group and you will also be involved in other related strategy projects. Job Responsibilities: Assist with the ongoing monitoring of the Leveraged Financing (LF), Heightened Standards (HS), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) portfolios including non-pass origination activity and best efforts transactions Support senior team members in implementing action plans identified to address new business and regulatory requirements Become subject matter expert on the Firm's credit risk systems and policies and contact on the Leveraged Financing and Heightened Standards risk policies in order to provide guidance to WCR teams and business colleagues on regulatory items related to LF, HS and FDIC regulations Help with the ongoing monitoring and governance of the Bank's Sponsor Portfolio and Direct Lending exposures Help with the implementation of various projects, policy changes and action plans identified to address new business and regulatory requirements around LF, HS, FDIC, Sponsors, Direct Lending etc. with a focus on streamlining and simplifying existing policies and processes across WCR Help to manage relevant limits and thresholds framework including notional and stress limits to closely monitor activity and ensure strong governance and controls Prepare presentation materials on LF/HS for firm wide and WCR senior management, respond to regulatory inquiries, prepare materials and respond to questions from senior management for quarterly JPMC earnings, and address other ad hoc business and regulatory requests Work with technology, credit risk and other stakeholders to develop and project manage technology enhancements Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities Ability to think holistically, creatively, critically and independently Experience in credit risk management, reporting and/or middle office Strong project management skills and ability to build effective working relationships across LOBs and functions Ability to analyze and summarize large data sets Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong technical, analytical and quantitative skills Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and Word Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment
