Come join a growing team that is working diligently to improve the Small business experience at Chase.As a Senior User Experience Research, Associate in Small Business, you will be successful in this role by delivering actionable insights that leads innovation across product development teams, taming complexity for our users. Additionally, you will be responsible for turning all of product development into a learning organization, guiding others on how to better conduct research and get the most out of our findings. You are also expected to be strong cross-functional partners with Product Management and Engineering, informing prioritization, planning, and decisions along the way to execution. Job Responsibilities: Structure and plan simple evaluative research initiatives that address Small Business team needs Design, administer, and report on these research studies, producing associated materials (e.g., screeners, discussion guides, topline, etc.) with some guidance Support generative and formative research Present work, and the rationale behind research findings, to Small Business leadership Take a question or a problem and be able to translate it into a testable hypothesis-complete with a specific method and tasks that appropriately respond to research, project, and business objectives Help non-researchers (Product Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers) in taking part in user research work Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Work with design and product leads to identify areas where user experience research can best provide insight and impact and develop research roadmaps (discovery and delivery) Participate in design and research studies for strategic, durable insights as well as fast turnaround projects Work with research leads and help with quality deliverables and best practices. Conduct strategic research projects and help with findings to product and business leads Co-lead design thinking workshopsThis role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Bachelor's, Masters' or Ph.D. degree in related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience 4 years of experience planning and executing user research studies Experience with generative and evaluative research methods, motion design or video or an interest in learning those skills Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the value of UX and the rationale behind your research process and design decisions Ability to work on complex initiatives with the help of research leads. Passionate for designing and delivering research for maximum impact and for developing world-class products and experiences Ability to incorporate design thinking into the product development process Ability to clearly articulate research findings to diverse audience at all level Familiarity with banking and finance a plus Experience with Small Business or B2B research (not just consumer) an advantage Portfolio or examples of past projects
