This role assists in understanding, scoping, and managing the execution of Firmwide AI management related to Legal and Regulatory activities, in accordance with internal and external standards, to quickly and compliantly progress and enable AI processes, technology and governance. Working by with and through Partnering JPMC teams across the globe, the legal and regulatory initiatives that are assigned are critical to the enablement of AI services desired across businesses and corporate functions.

As a Vice President- Legal Regulatory Strategy Manager in the CDAO, you will utilize your relevant experience, client and practice management skills and concepts to drive our Global AI enablement Programs. As a member of the team, you will partner closely with leaders in Firmwide AI Management, Global Technology, Global Supplier Services, Controls, and Model Review and Governance teams, among others, to support our governance of responsible AI .Through clear and transparent communication with senior stakeholders, this role will progress firmwide business critical initiatives that will enable AI throughout JPMC.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive end to end legal and regulatory initiative management, demonstrating ownership and accountability of the entire process 
• Partner with colleagues across the firm to create and facilitate completion of AI milestones and objectives through strong and clear collaboration with partnering JPMC Lines of Business and Corporate Functions 
• Consult with business partners to clarify, define and document project objectives, deliverables as well as identify key stakeholders and strategy program participants
• Define and measure key metrics to help assess impact and communicate progress to Senior management and Operating Committee members and other key stakeholders
• Design and formalize strong controls in in close partnership with internal control partners and in accordance with company policies and regulatory changes
• Creation and execution of strategic plans, timelines, standard operating procedures
• Keep business / data science partners / key LOB/CF stakeholders apprised of updates
• Design Frameworks and strategies that envision compliance by design and operate in parity with the direction of other critical processes
• Facilitating sessions and speaking in front of large audiences
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, have a clear purpose, and distribute meeting documentation in advance to enable preparation and participation of key meeting participants
• Pivot, when necessary, to modify plans to accommodate a fast-paced and changing legal and regulatory environment without unnecessary disruption to critical path objectives and milestones, where possible

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• 10 years of Legal, Regulatory, Strategy or other related support experience, Legal or Regulatory Program or Project Management background preferred
• Ability to effectively prioritize, determine key needs and execute tasks with limited direction, exercise discretion and sound judgment and escalate issues appropriately
• Experience designing, building and facilitating strategies and executing programs
• Ability to articulate concepts clearly to differing audiences
• Ability to work with large data sets to pull trends and insights, and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders
• Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across audience levels
• JD Candidates preferred, with other mentioned skills
