Job DescriptionThe Chief Analytics Office is seeking an Executive Director with strategy and/or management consulting experience with a proven track record in advising senior stakeholders in shaping their strategy to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to transform and advance how they operate. This role will drive the execution of AI priorities, lead strategy projects focusing on AI, and manage the strategic engagement with internal lines of businesses to shape their AI strategy. Job Responsibilities
Leading strategy projects to drive execution of Firm’s AI priorities by partnering with internal stakeholders
Leading strategic engagement with internal lines of businesses to shape their AI strategy
Identifying and prioritizing problems that may benefit from the new developments in AI technologies
Structuring and building quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive recommendations on solving the prioritized problems
Developing and syndicating business cases for the prioritized initiatives, including the scope of work, target state solutions, staffing and timelines
Conducting regular industry research to identify market trends & developments, including new AI capabilities and frameworks being introduced
Managing multi-disciplinary teams consisting of strategists, product managers, engineers and data scientists, and closely interacting with senior business stakeholders to ensure successful development and execution of recommended solutions
Partnering with Product and Technology organizations to shape the strategic roadmap of key Firmwide AI capabilities
Working closely with the Product and Technology teams on the prioritization of deliverables from a business and technology perspective and leading senior executive communications for prioritized strategic initiatives and facilitating discussions for key decisions
Displaying critical day-to-day leadership closely working with Chief Analytics Office teams and other partner teams across the organization
Exercising sound judgment, anticipating bottlenecks, evaluating and mitigating potential risks, escalating effectively, making trade-offs and balancing business needs versus technical constraints and collaborating with diverse, global teams to drive the execution of strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
10 years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting leading strategic project and initiatives, preferably focusing on innovative technologies, such as AI, Cloud services and Digital Products
6 years of experience managing team as a people manager with strong people management and team building skills including but not limited to coaching and growing talent, fostering healthy culture, attracting/retaining talent, and thus building a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team
Must have excellent management skills required to influence and manage multiple resources, most of which may not be under direct authority. Able to partner with and influence other groups outside of the team’s reporting line, aligning multiple functions to a singular set of objectives and must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven delivery track record and must be highly skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation.
Must have excellent judgment, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex problems, their short term workaround, long term fix and see them through to resolution and have executive level presence with exceptional business acumen, possessing overall leadership qualities and abilities.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly storyboard using tools like PowerPoint, etc. is essential with experience in designing and delivering end-to-end target Operating models and processes.
Must be flexible and able to deal with multiple, changing priorities independently with minimal or no supervision and have the ability to inspire collaboration among teams composed of both technical and non-technical members, including working with multiple functions across regions and time differences.
Able to lead with inclusivity and empathy, be considerate of others, be supportive during high pressure situations and actively celebrate successes
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degrees (MBA or MSc.) preferred
