Job Summary: The Materials Technician PRN issues supplies to JPS Connection patients and cleans patient care equipment. Position also restocks and distributes designated specialty carts as required.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

1. Cleans, verifies and restocks designated specialty cart drawers as required.
2. Cleans patient care equipment and provides equipment to clinical areas upon request.
3. Maintains clean and orderly conditions in department.
4. Issues medical supplies to outpatient JPS Connection patients within established guidelines.
5. Checks clinical areas on a daily basis to ensure soiled equipment is removed and properly cleaned.
6. Rounds clinical area managers on a monthly basis to ensure customer satisfaction and to address equipment issues.
7. Coordinates with clinical staff to ensure specialty carts contain the appropriate supplies to administer patient care.
