JR Construction Solutions is Hiring a Construction Manager Near Prairieville, LA

Local construction company seeking Construction Manager for residential construction projects in multiple neighborhoods. Zachary, Prairieville, Springfield, Geismar, Covington, Addis, and Plaquemine areas.

We are seeking someone with a client service-oriented attitude. Must be able to respond to client’s needs, requirements and expectations in a timely manner, with a positive attitude, while working under high stress.

A good fit for this position is as follows:

• Proactively engages with clients and encourages repeat business.

• Is frequently in contact with clients and knows how they evaluate the quality of services that they receive.

• Deals promptly with client’s problems to their satisfaction.

• Identifies how services can be changed or improved that will better satisfy the client’s expectations.

• Addresses conflicts or difficulties with clients before problems escalate.

• Goes out of their way to help clients and others with their difficulties or in carrying out their daily duties.

• Consistently makes each client feel like they are our only client and their particular needs are priority #1.

Daily work scope is as follows:

• Observes construction activity at various sites.

• Reviews the project schedule and documents progress.

• Oversees all onsite construction activity and coordinates with subcontractors.

• Maintains communication logs pertaining to job status, submittals, and change orders.

• Works with home office to create weekly schedules for subcontractors.

• Communicates materials needed through purchase orders.

• Reduces waste materials as a priority.

• Has knowledge of building products, construction practices, and quality standards.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Must have knowledge of vertical and horizontal construction. Three years prior experience in construction management preferred. Please provide professional references.

W2 position, performance bonus, truck allowance, phone allowance, and compensation for gas. Must own truck in good working condition.
