JR&CO is looking for an Assistant Service Department Manager that wants to join our Colorado Springs Roofing team. Ideal candidates will have experience in the installation of all commercial roofing systems (i.e. EPDM, TPO, PVC, etc.) and experience managing roof crews. If you are detail-oriented, organized, able to represent the company in a friendly, personable manner to customers and meet the following requirements, this may be the position for you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage, train, supervise, and schedule roofing service tech crews
• Customer-service with clients
• Ensure supplies/materials are stocked
• As needed: estimate small service/special project jobs
• Share experience with team members to build skills and strength of service department
• Generate revenue through service jobs
• Coordinate and communicate schedule adjustments to customers, crews, and management
• Complete work orders and submit them for payment

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum of 2-year experience installing all types of commercial roofs.
• Minimum of 2-year experience managing personnel.
• OSHA 10 certification – minimum (OSHA 30 preferred)
• Personable and detail-oriented.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal need for direction and oversight.
• Willing to travel
• Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)
• Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater
• Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, climbing
• Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8 hours per day)
• Overtime and weekend work
