We are seeking a highly skilled Writer to join our talented team and contribute to the success of our projects. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
Draft communications materials, including Mission and Vision Statements, Goals, Gap Analysis documentation, SWOT Analysis, Roles and Responsibility documents, Standard Operating Procedure, Communication Plans, and Training Material, quickly and on tight deadlines.
Review and edit all outbound documentation materials for content, spelling, style, format, and grammar.
Ensure that documentation is inclusive and accessible for diverse audiences, adhering to best practices for cultural competency and accessibility.
Build and maintain a content calendar for outbound communications materials and coordinate with other teams across Climate Power.
Coordinate with Climate Power's research team to perform research and fact-checking.
Provide guidance to other staff members on writing conventions and style.
Work with the Managing Director of Communications and the full team to write and edit communications materials.
Qualifications
5 years of relevant prior work experience in communications and editing.
Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Adept at long-form and short-form writing.
Excellent grasp of grammar and spelling.
Proven research and fact-checking skills.
A keen eye for detail and quality writing.
Organized and meticulous about their work.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS/NIST standards, and adept at managing government-specific IT environments.
Well-versed in healthcare IT systems with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations and a background in healthcare systems technology.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary based on knowledge and years of experience.
