2-3 days per week in Newark, NJ are required.
Real Estate Information Systems is seeking a full-time Senior Business Analyst Consultant. The list of responsibilities and qualifications for the candidate are outlined below. The candidate will be required to come into the Newark, NJ office 2 to 3 days a week. The remaining days of the week can be worked remotely but are subject to change.Business Analyst ResponsibilitiesAbility to evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, identify process improvements, and developing and solutions.
- Performing requirements analysis and documentation of the processes and results.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to enable proactive business decisions
- Strong Communication Skills: Conducting meetings and presentations to business and management for sharing insights, plans and ideas.
- Perform user acceptance testing of enhancements and system solutions.
- Perform production support and issues resolution,
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Resource planning and tracking of resources, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring timely completion of project tasks.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Strong data analytics, organizational and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task between functional areas to support the business.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Jira, and Power Query a plus.
- Experience with Business Objects or equivalent query type software not limited to SQL, PostgreSQL.
- High competency in Data Analysis and committed to data.
- Experience with Commercial Real Estate applications not limited to Yardi, MRI, Kardin, RealPage, DealPath, VTS is a plus.
- Experience with other applications not limited to Salesforce, Business Central (NAV), Cloud applications is a plus
- Commercial Real Estate experience and/or private equity experience is a plus
