Dayforce Code: Hawaii-Coordinator-Digital Solution-Marketing [Pay Range: $14.00 - $22.00] Primary Responsibilities: Under the general direction of Digital Solutions Manager, promote the marketing, management, planning, designing, video shooting, movie editing, development and updating of JTB Hawaii website and SNS projects. Work with Digital Solutions team to support the digitization of the company’s mission. Percent Time Spent Essential Functions 25%Coordinate maintenance of updated and revised information to distribute to external sources via JTB Hawaii’s websites and SNS. Coordinate with other departments to collect, correct, and edit the information, and to translate to Japanese context.20%Create special promotions webpages and SNS contents, distribute information to various web pages.40%Research and schedule appointments, photoshoot, video shooting, movie editing, and interview businesses, events, and people.15%Maintain updated knowledge of SNS, web development, web design, web promotion, and web marketing strategy issues. Assist in identifying marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation. Maintain a marketing database. Secondary Functions:Assist in coordination of web related information for JTB Hawaii’s annual events such as Honolulu Marathon, Honolulu Festival, and others.Perform all other duties as assigned by manager.Educate self by means of seminar attendance to maintain updated knowledge of web marketing, travel industry information and JTB-related tour business.Assist other departments or sections during peak periods as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:High school diploma.Possess a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of related work or industry related experience, including training in data management, communications, and marketing.Possess working knowledge of web related software such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other programs desirable. Able to professionally and effectively communicate with employees, business partners, and clients in English and Japanese, via written and verbal communication methods.Possess basic interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.Able to work independently and cooperatively with others; ability to work with employees, business partners, and customers in a friendly and positive manner.Possess knowledge of Japanese tour characteristics, culture, and customs, as well as knowledge of Hawaii’s tourism infrastructure.Possess working knowledge of JTB’s internal tour programs, contents, and related products.Possess a valid Hawaii driver license with clean abstract. Working Conditions:Working HoursUp to 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, and as deemed necessary. Heavy overtime seasonally, periodically, and as required.Occasional travel to various locations outside of the office, including travel to neighbor islands, continental U.S., and/or abroad, where weather conditions may vary.Subject to atmospheric conditions including: an air conditioned office, noise, dust, fumes, and vehicle exhaust.
