Rapidly growing manufacturer seeking a Cost Accounting Manager for thier Fairfield, Virginia operation.

The Cost Accounting Manager will develop and reconcile inventory and cost standards including production and overhead costs. The ideal candidate will track and evaluate day-to-day activities including establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. While working closely with the operations and supply chain team, the candidate will develop and reconcile inventory and cost standards, including production and overhead costs.

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accounting Manager and knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.

• Expert computer skills on the MS Office platform specifically MS Excel and advanced knowledge of enterprise accounting software (ERP) and databases.

• 5 years of cost accounting or 10 years of accounting experience.

• Experience in manufacturing, ERP inventory management or inventory valuation highly desired.
