Manufacturing Process Engineer
6 month contract
Location- Bradley, IL
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems.
- Perform engineering design evaluations.
- May develop a range of products.
- Recommend alterations to development and design to improve product quality and procedures.
- Possess knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
- Work under immediate supervision.
- Opportunity for contract extension beyond 6 months.
- 1st shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Learn client manufacturing processes from three Kankakee site perspectives (Fractionation, Bulk Purification, and Fill/Finish) as applicable.
- Support deviations/batch release from a process engineering perspective:
- Use worst-case data, downscale reports, etc., to draft Technical Assessments justifying batch release.
- Provide peer reviews for process engineering tech assessments.
- Perform normalization calculations based on characterization testing results.
- Support ongoing taskforces for Right First Time:
- May require lab or shop floor work/studies.
- Manage sample logistics for Technical Assessments:
- Send samples to KAN, BRN, and MBR R&D/QC.
- Assist with process and equipment improvements via the Global Continuous Improvement Committee (GCC).
