Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including sales taxes, credit cards, and general ledger reconciliation
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoicing or payment issues
- Assist with benefits administration, including processing employee reimbursements and maintaining records
- Perform general accounting tasks as assigned
- Cover phones at the front desk during receptionist breaks
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree preferred; high school graduate or G.E.D equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Professional or in a similar role
- Some knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Kinetic/EPICOR ERP system a plus, but not required
