Job Summary
The Special education Teacher Intern will provide quality services to special education students grades kindergarten through grade twelve. Planning and implementation of student programs includes special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation to general education staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requires a current California Credential (see credential information for specific credentials that are acceptable). If you do not currently hold an appropriate California credential at the time of your application, your application will not be considered.
In addition to a resume and letter of introduction, we require three letters of recommendation, a current negative TB test, current CPR certification, and copies of all college transcripts to be uploaded at the time of application. Applications received without all required documents will not be considered. Please see details for each document type for more information.

JCS-Cedar Cove is currently seeking a Full-time Special Education Teacher intern serving students with special needs at our school located in Encinitas, CA. The applicant must be enrolled in a Special Education Intern program and your school must be willing to provide an MOU.

JCS Cedar Cove Academy serves grades TK-12 with a target student population for those who have a strong desire to home school or would like to participate in a home school hybrid and collegiate learning model with a combination of classroom learning opportunities four-days-a-week and one day at home for independent study.
