Our company has been providing local restaurants with the finest ingredients available since 1915. Located in Philadelphia, we are a family-owned food wholesale distribution company. In the past several years we have experienced tremendous growth and we are currently looking to add to our team. We are seeking a strong HR professional to join as a HR Manager in the DC Metro area. We recognize that a quality team is vital to support our quality products and services. Human Resources Manager
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new employees in the Maryland location.
- Recruiting for the Maryland location.
- Support the VP Human Resources & Senior Leadership with all projects, reports, and recruiting.
- Form strong relationships and collaborate with the management team to be able to maintain a high-performance environment.
- Experience using an ATS system for recruiting.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed in accordance with employment law, and company policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in a related field preferred.
- A minimum of one (2) years’ experience in recruiting, & overall HR processes.
- Basic knowledge of Maryland HR laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and 365 platform.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
