Responsibilities:This job requires developing comprehensive test plans, and automation suites based on feature requirements, discover defects at various stages of release process while writing high quality automated test suites.
The candidate should be able to setup test equipment in the lab, use third party network test tools, should be able to execute automated test suites,
debug complex problems and analyze results. Must have strong automation skills in Python.
Candidate will engage in technical forums to learn and understand the emerging technologies within the networking industry.
Candidate will also engage to support customer escalations, by replicating customer issues in-house and collaborating with multiple stake holders for testing potential fixes.
Requirements

• BS/MS in EE/CS or related fields
• 10 years of hands-on experience testing complex L2/L3 products
• Strong technical knowledge in Ethernet Switching, IP Forwarding, Class/Quality of Service, Firewall and Access Control, as well as Routing and Switching Protocols is a must.
• Strong background and detailed understanding of campus and data center customer network design, testing, deployment and troubleshooting are a plus
• L2/L3 Multicast testing experiences is a plus
• Hands-on experiences with different operating systems, virtualization, and customer applications in data center environments is a plus
• Strong test automation or programming skills in Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self starter, proactive and must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Expertise in use of networking test equipment like Spirent and Ixia, including automation.

Minimum Salary: $140,800.00
Maximum Salary:$202,400.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $140,800.00 and $202,400.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
