Juniper Networks is seeking a motivated, detail oriented, and quantitative individual to join the Chief Operating Office (COO) as a Sr. Manager Technical Program/Project Manager for Security Products. We are looking for a person who thrives in a multi-project, fast paced and fun environment. This position will report to the Senior Director of Program Management, and work closely with them to drive security product portfolio that deliver value to Juniper. You will be required to work with Product managers, Engineering managers, cross-functional product teams, and other leaders across the company to ensure the successful execution and implementation of the security portfolio. The ideal candidate will have good understanding of end to end Product Lifecycle (PLC) with technical experience, extensive technical program management experience, knowledge of best practices and tools across the PLC, and proficiency in waterfall and Agile methodologies.

This position requires the ability to work with many cross-functional stakeholders and juggle multiple programs and projects at a time, and provide leadership to the team to successfully deliver on security product portfolio. The ability to manage projects from concept to execution is critical to your success. Our projects in the NPI PGM team are global, enterprise-wide, and cross-functional in nature. You must be able to operate in an environment where you build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from concept/definition through planning, execution, and delivery.
• Ensure projects are aligned with business requirements and coordinated with key stakeholders.
• Develop and measure project success via KPIs.
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement in all relevant business processes.
• Redesign and improve existing product operations processes.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Develops technical knowledge as vital to meet evolving business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, in addition to 7 years of related experience in a large scale product environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, documentation, problem solving, negotiation, project coordination and organization skills.
• Ability to apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.
• Excellent business liaison skills. Ability to digest system complexity and articulate to business users in concise and simple language.
• Strong knowledge of modern program management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS project or Smartsheets, etc.
• Experience influencing and coaching others.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex information across various levels of the enterprise.
• Ability to effectively support one to more teams at progressive maturity levels.
• Ability to modify and adapt to context to select the appropriate framework and techniques.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels and departments within the company.
• 10 year's experience in Product Lifecycle operations.
• 10 years managing projects and programs.
• Understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Solid agile delivery, project management, and relationship management skills.
• Technical experience in the areas of networking, security, and cloud technologies would be a plus.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service attitude.
• Ability to clearly articulate to and engage cross functional operational leads and management.
• You have the desire to learn and apply new technologies.
• Ability to self-train quickly and pick up new skills as necessary.

Minimum Salary: $179,200.00

Maximum Salary:$257,600.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $179,200.00 and $257,600.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
