"Luggers" are the most important front-line folks of our business. They are the face of the company to our valued customers. This is MORE than a physical labor or driving position. This position entails a huge customer service component.
Tipping is customary in our industry and can add $5 to $10 per hour to a Luggers wages. We offer a 401(k) to employees with a 4% match and an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Hourly wages vary between $14 to $18 plus cash tips that are typically add $5 to $10 per hour to a Luggers wages.
Luggers of Wilmington is the caring, eco-friendly alternative to traditional junk removal and moving services in the Cape Fear region. Our mission is to enhance lives, our community, and the environment through our commitment to donating, recycling, and supporting our local charities. The amount of household and commercial waste that ends up in landfills on a daily basis is astronomical. We believe that a lot of this is avoidable, and with just a little attention to detail - and a lot of love for our planet, we can help reverse this growing problem.
