Title: Preschool Daycare Director
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
Bonus Potential: $15,000.00 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday

As a Preschool Daycare Director at Jupiter Learning Academy, you'll create a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Your role involves ensuring educational and developmental objectives are met, managing staff, developing curriculum, and maintaining positive relationships with parents.

The Successful Candidate Should Possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading early childhood education programs
  • Knowledge of childcare management and early education standards in Virginia
  • Knowledge of appropriate curriculum strategies for young children
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
  • Ability to provide coverage/support in the classroom, kitchen, and/or facilities when needed.
  • Manage staff scheduling needs and ensure proper coverage is available, including covering absent staff per ratio.
  • Recent work experience as Co-Director: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Classroom management
  • Prior Teaching experience
  • Weekly classroom observations required
