About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our established team in the Tampa Bay area. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical projects, from initial planning and budgeting to final execution and handover. You will lead a team of skilled electricians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Secure necessary permits and ensure projects comply with all electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating favorable contracts with vendors.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular project reviews, identifying and mitigating potential risks and ensuring project stays on track.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Foster a culture of safety on the job site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Valid Florida Electrical Contractor License (a plus).
