Just Kids Pediatrics is in need of great LPN/RN Triage Nurse to join our Tulsa team! We are a full service pediatric care facility in Oklahoma that is dedicated to keeping kids safe from illness and helping them live a healthy lifestyle. We are a fast-paced, dynamic company who strives to provide the best pediatric care to all children. Spanish speaking is a requirement for this position, being a good human is a MUST!!

We have 12 office locations across the OKC metro area. This position is for our Nurse triage line at our OWASSO Clinic that will help our families and their kiddos medical needs as much as possible. Understanding that every encounter may not be our emergency but it will ALWAYS be an emergency for the care of mama's and their kiddo. Patient care comes first!

Triage Nurse Shift: Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm in person or Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm

Triage Nurse Salary: $20.00-$25.00

Nurse Triage Primary Job Duties include:

• Provide superior customer service and care to all patients
• Ability to empathize with our patients while providing quality medical care
• Educate our patients on all services that we offer to make sure they receive great healthcare
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician or other provider
• Assist provider in exam rooms
• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, & chart in EMR system if needed
• Administer injections, run x-rays, swab, and perform other routine nursing duties as required
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by provider
• Ensure all related reports, labs and other information are filed and available in patients’ medical records prior to their appointment
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and maintain instruments
• Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls, and forward calls to providers and other staff
• Schedule patients for any appointments as needed and audit charts to schedule well-child appointments
• All other duties as assigned by nursing director
