Technician

Summary:

Technicians will provide hands-on support for IT hardware and software within Miami-Dade County. They will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, install and configure equipment, and perform routine maintenance. Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software.
• Install and configure computer systems, peripherals, and software.
• Perform routine maintenance and system updates.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve helpdesk requests.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of hardware and software components.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• A or similar IT certification is a plus.
