Who we are looking for:
Are you the Director of Adolescent Services we have been looking for? Berkshire Meadows, located in Great Barrington offers multiple services and programs for individuals with complex and significant medical, intellectual and developmental differences. Programs include a 365-day-a-year residential school for students between the ages of 6 and 21, residential and day habilitation programs for adults, and 24/7 nursing and medical services. Berkshire Meadows operates both in community settings and at a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art equipment and therapy animals, as well as a fully accessible indoor pool. In this role, you will oversee the adolescent services at our program.
JRI provides the training so that:

• YOU will plan and coordinate services, monitor compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the program.
• YOU will implement the program's policies and procedures and allocate resources and program planning.
• YOU will monitor, evaluate and supervise service delivery according to MassHealth regulations, DDS regulations, CARF and JRI organizational policies and procedures, goals and objectives.
• YOU will provide administrative and program oversight to insure services effectively address the assessed needs of the individuals and insure those needs are treated through an active treatment plan developed by an interdisciplinary team.
• YOU will coordinate referrals for program admission and for service changes.
• YOU will ensure that adequate, qualified and trained staff are available at all required by regulations and provide services consistent with needs of the individuals.
• YOU will provide oversight and coordination of the clinical and ancillary services required to appropriately plan and provide active treatment to all individuals in the program clinical resources.
• YOU will enlist consumer, family and guardian input into service development, implementation and evaluation.
• YOU will oversee staff in appropriate care, treatment and physical intervention, including crisis prevention techniques.

Requirements:

• Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Applicants must have at least five years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Applicants should have experience in a supervisory or administrative role.
• Applicants must have the demonstrated ability to manage complex services systems with multiple sites and diverse staff.
• Candidates must be available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
