The CBP Facilitator is a specialized, dynamic role within the Early Interventions Unit, Ancillary Team. The CBP Facilitator is responsible for effectively facilitating various groups such as Thinking for a Change (T4C) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). Facilitators not only go through the curriculum and material with the participants of the group, but they work with each participant to develop coping, problem solving, and social skills that will in turn help guide them to success in their program, and in their future. The goal of the Evidence Based Curriculums is to lower the likelihood of the participant returning to the system in the future. The CBP Specialist will facilitate multiple groups each day in various locations near downtown Milwaukee. Facilitators will adhere to best practices and program fidelity, and provide accurate and timely records.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of effective evidence-based practices with Criminal Justice involved populations
  • Ability to deliver curriculum including group management and public speaking roles
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Interact effectively and sensitively with individuals from diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds and LGBTQIA identities
  • Exercise good judgement
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to be flexible
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel and web enabled databases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Study in the criminal justice or social service field preferred
