This position will perform printing, cutting, laminating, and finishing tasks within a manufacturing value stream. We are centrally located in Hernando County in the Airport Industrial Park. Cycle counts
Quality inspections
Replenish inventory
Coordinate consolidation of inventory for specific accounts, label and prepare for shipment
Fulfill customer orders, pull inventory and package for shipment
Report work orders utilizing Smart Bin, AME/Frontier
Uses Frontier programs to monitor inventory and balance accounts
Cross train within and out of department/value stream
Tracks and logs all product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies
Receive trucks and unload product
Receive in purchase orders from outside vendors, verify, inspect, and put away inventory
Packs and ships orders for delivery.
Inspects all orders being received and shipped, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items
Reports and returns damaged product
Palletize orders for shipment
Operates forklift or other machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products
Keeps warehouse area clean and organized.
Alerts warehouse supervisor of any issues with shipping or receiving
Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor/manager
Must be able to work overtime as requested
Job functions may include special assignments as directed by the department supervision or manager
Assist in production value streams as needed
Report all unsafe activities to Plant Manager, Safety Manager, VP of Operations, and/or Human Resources
Comply with all safety and environmental rules, regulations, and guidelines, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements
Dispose of hazardous and all other waste materials in accordance with regulatory procedures and policy
Be punctual and dependable; accountable for assigned work shift
Take direction from and communicate with others regardless of age, gender, race or religion
Perform general housekeeping duties to keep works areas clean and free of debris
Work overtime as requested
Requirements
Ability to be on your feet, standing and/or walking, for the duration of your shift
Ability to identify and distinguish between colors
Ability to perform such actions as bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, lifting, and performing repetitive motions throughout shift
Handle material up to 50 pounds in weight
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around machinery or equipment with moving parts
Could be exposed to dust, noise, or hazardous materials
Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
Good reading, spelling, and comprehension
Intermediate to strong math skills
Ability to use hand and power tools
Ability to take accurate measurements using rulers, tapes, gauges, and other tools
Strong computer skills
Ability to take direction and work well with others
1-3 years' related experience preferred
Prior manufacturing experience
High school diploma
Some college/trade school preferred
