JVT Advisors is Hiring a Procurement Analyst Near Andover, MA

The Senior Analyst will contribute to category management and drive cost savings through various tasks

  • Identify and evaluate potential new vendors for designated categories
  • Create RFPs to facilitate price discovery and vendor selection
  • Lead or support sourcing initiatives under the guidance of the Head of Procurement
  • Negotiate supply terms and conditions with managerial support
  • Draft and implement supply agreements with feedback from Legal and other stakeholders
  • Oversee the implementation of new agreements and the onboarding process for new suppliers
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to products, services, and supply chains, including lead times, availability, quality, and performance
  • Provide continuous Supplier Relationship Management support
  • Handle vendor price change requests, ensuring they align with existing contract terms, calculate cost impacts, and update vendor pricing on the intranet
  • Offer procurement research and analytical support for projects led by the Procurement Manager
  • Ensure the intranet site reflects current vendor pricing
  • Keep the contract database updated with the latest agreement information
  • Monitor raw material price indexes to spot market trends
  • Quickly address product inquiries from field locations and ensure adherence to vendor agreements
  • Distribute products to the field as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in Procurement, Consulting, or other analytical roles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in project management and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills or a strong aptitude for learning Excel
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Fluency in English
