Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: primarily responsible for painting of tractors, trailers and other equipment. This includes sandblasting of components or entire assets as needed. All preparation such as taping, masking, and other prep work as needed.

• Prepares surfaces to be painted, which may include removing prior finishes through chemicals, grit blast, or other methods.

• Operate gravity and pressure related equipment included, but not limited to, sandblasting machinery.
• Repair minor body damage.
• Cosmetic repairs such as fiberglass, bondo and body filler.
• Prime and sand surfaces that have been repaired.
• Assist in the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of the equipment being utilized.
• Move, load, and unload parts as necessary into and out of the painting/sandblasting area as necessary using appropriate and safe liftying techniques.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Duties will also include to receive/stock/pick parts/ship parts in the shop.

• Washing internal & exterior vacuum tankers.
• Must have knowledge of supplies needed to perform the job.

• Ability to follow instructions and provide consistent work.
• Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Job requires physical exertion, and applicant must be able to comfortably lift or carry 50-100 pounds and have the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Daily work requires climbing ladders, bending, stooping, pulling and lifting.

• For safety purposes, must be able to read, write and speak english.
• Must have basic hand tools
