Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an experienced Field Inspectors to join our team on a 1099-Contract Basis in Eureka, Redding or San Luis Obispo, California.

Must have experience with Field Inspection, Vegetation Management, and/or Estimating Field experience.Previous experience supporting PG&E projects is preferred.

Field Inspection Services include but are not limited to the following:

• Data Collection
• Prepare work orders and materials specifications
• Perform field surveys and stakeouts
• Acquire necessary permits and State approvals
• Input data into the SAP WMS and SmartMap systems, GIS, others and reconcile project completions
• Provide alternatives to completing specific projects
• Complete preliminary surveying and layouts
• Conduct field measurements and/or field survey to produce base plans for engineering design
• Utilize computer services as required in surveying and mapping activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of High School Diploma required
• Ability to accurately collect data
• Knowledge of GPS Systems preferred
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project or Equivalent
• Must have current US Work authorization and a valid US Driver License in good standing
• Must be able to report to Eureka, Redding or San Luis Obispo, California on a day-to-day basis, walking site to site, and attend meetings as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $38.63 per hour
