K&A Engineering Consulting PC is Hiring an Utility Pole Inspector Near Hicksville, NY

K&A Engineering Consulting – White Plains, NY

Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking a Utility Pole Inspector to join our team in eastern Long Island, NY. This is an entry-level role for a three-year project and has the potential to help you build a career in the utility industry with K&A.

The starting rate for this position is $16.00/hr with an eligible increase to $19.00/hr after meeting set quotas. Candidates must be able to report to the office in Hicksville, Long Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Take picture documentation of existing transmission and distribution poles with the provided equipment
  • Verify assets and identification of third-party attachments to distribution and transmission pole plants
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work to include inspection of 14 poles per hour or more
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Degree
  • No prior experience required; paid training provided
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work on uneven and rugged terrain and in many different elements of weather

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
