General Description

Senior Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee accounts receivable (AR), customer rebates, and collections. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ERP systems such as Infor, SAP, or Oracle, with a preference for M3, and a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, posting of payments, claims, and reconciliation of accounts. Assists the Finance team in monthly, quarterly and annual Financial close. Provides support during the Annual Financial Audit. New customer set up and credit checks 
  • Customer Rebates: Manage customer rebate programs, ensuring accurate calculation, tracking, and application of rebates according to contractual agreements.
  • Collections: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts, maintaining strong relationships with customers while ensuring timely payments. Account reconciliation.
  • ERP System Management: Utilize and manage ERP systems (preferably Infor M3) to maintain accurate financial records, improve processes, and generate financial reports.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports related to AR, rebates, and collections to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Provides ad hoc reporting as necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve AR and rebate processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Customer Service, and Operations, to resolve issues and improve cross-functional processes.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Associate's degree with 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • High School Diploma with 7 years in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as Infor, SAP, or Oracle (M3 preferred).
  • Excellent understanding of accounts receivable, customer rebates, and collections processes.
  • Knowledge of the Enable Rebate Management program a plus. (Not required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Physical demands

 Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs.
