Locally owned distribution company looking for a Procurement Specialist/Data Analyst.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for acquiring goods and services in a timely manner
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements
• Maintaining proper flow of goods using forecasting
• Negotiating purchase agreements, prices and terms and conditions
• Tracking P.O.'s to ensure timely deliveries, accurate receipts, and resolution to any supply issues to prevent the shortage or delay of goods
• Ensuring that products are delivered in quality condition and best code dating possible to meet company standards
• Issuing claims for damages, defectives, short shipments, samples, and bill backs
• Inventory control
• Cost/Sales and data analysis
• Meeting with suppliers to maintain supplier relationships and evaluate product lines

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Prior knowledge of procurement A , but not necessary
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Must speak English

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
