Applicant should possess NICET level 1 and / or level 2 certification. This requires that the applicant has at least one year experience working on fire suppression systems. Work includes installation, service of existing systems, 6 month certification checks, etc. Applicant will install of new fire suppression systems on mobile vehicles like cranes, excavators, heavy equipment, etc. The 6 month system certifications are performed after the initial installation. Service calls may be required as malfunctions may arise in the life of the machine. The work areas include private companies, port facilities, rail yards that use container cranes, etc. The other work areas provide travel if the applicant is so inclined outside of N.J. There is factory OEM training provided to the applicant covering all aspects of the non water based suppression systems. A company service vehicle is provided with the tools & parts required in addition to the personal tools maintained by the employee. Any road travel is fully paid by the employer as there is work available outside the Garden State.
