K2 Services LLC is Hiring a Sr. Specialist, Partner Management Near Chicago, IL
Position Overview:The Vendor Management Office (VMO) at K2 Services is comprehensive of the strategic Partner Management function. The successful candidate will administer K2’s relationships with its top vendors called Key Alliance Partners (KAP); such vendors provide valuable incentives, and this role will ensure that K2 optimizes and tracks all ancillary revenue opportunities and positions K2 strategically for growth within each KAP’s program. Summary:K2’s Partner & Channel Management function includes:
Working with K2’s relationship sponsors, administering strategic 3rd party partner channel relationships, obtaining existing additional value (financial, marketing, service delivery, etc.) from KAPs
Coordinating between internal stakeholders and KAPs to fulfill partnership requirements and business opportunity targets
Pipeline management forecasting/monitoring ancillary revenue in conjunction with Sales, Account Management, and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis
Cross functional collaboration with other members of the Vendor Management Office (VMO), and also with Deals Desk, Architecture, Technology Services, Project Management Office, and Service Delivery Management to ensure highest levels of client service
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Identify, track and plan for growth of ancillary revenue channels including but not limited to: marketing development funds (MDF), financial incentives, training and certifications
Develop deep expertise in KAPs’ core business products and partnership programs, enabling K2 to maximize its revenue opportunities with KAPs as well as understand how we can grow our relationship
Organize and drive Quarterly Business Reviews for KAPs identify areas of partner success and areas for improvement
Work with Talent and Business Owners to prepare Functional Area curriculum; help drive completion of partnership training requirements growth
Work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure use and proper allocation of MDF and other incentives
Manage Deal registration process with KAP vendors, including maintenance of our access and visibility in all partnership profiles: create our profile, ensure K2 listed as a preferred partner publicly, review website terms and conditions and misc. documentation
Recommend sign-off (when appropriate), fill in appropriate documentation to register deals and be the “Sales Owner on Record” for these deals
Partner with technology committee to advocate for vendor partners whenever appropriate
On an annual basis, prepare K2 leadership readout of current state of partnership levels, value drivers and how to get to 1-2 levels above where we currently are today
Establish bi-monthly checkpoints with business owners, Finance, Business Development, Account Management
Support Finance and Accounting in troubleshooting invoicing and billing issues
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree or college diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field
Vendor management experience, inclusive of procurement or marketing, strongly preferred
3 years' experience in financial analysis, project planning, forecasting, reporting, or other business focused roles
Soft skills: ability to track progress and plan for next steps, build up/down internal and external relationships, ownership, attention to detail, run effective meetings. Clearwritten and verbal
communication skills, ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills demonstrated by the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work based on specified deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform through achieving deliverables
