Job Description:Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a Client Technologies Analyst I-II for a 90-day temporary role for a client in the higher education industry located in Corpus Christi.
Purpose:The Client Technologies Analyst will perform complex and specialized client technology support functions under general supervision, including troubleshooting, analysis, research, debugging, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:Level 1:
  • Diagnose and repair hardware/software failures
  • Install, upgrade, and configure hardware and software
  • Facilitate new computer setups, including application and data transfers
  • Utilize software tools to maintain and configure desktop computers
  • Monitor and maintain system security
  • Track and assist in equipment repair work orders
  • Attend training, assist in research, and test new technologies
  • Provide consultative and technical services
  • Assist in training and coordinating tasks for student workers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Level 2:
  • Install, upgrade, and configure complex personal computing device hardware and software
  • Administer large audio-video systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software for audio-video systems
  • Research and recommend audio-video systems hardware and software purchases
  • Support special events on campus, including audio-video requirements
  • Participate in planning and coordinating operational matters
  • Support new technology deployments and system integration testing
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Level 1:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Four months of related experience (substitution of additional experience for education possible)
Level 2:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field
  • Three years of related experience (substitution of additional experience for education possible)
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
