The role
The Community Specialist's main responsibility is to act as the primary liaison between our organization and its community of educators and learners.
Main responsibilities:
- Fostering engagement, trust, and collaboration with our community
- Developing and implementing strategies to build and nurture our community across various platforms, including social media, forums, and in-person events
- Responsible for moderating discussions, addressing inquiries and concerns, and amplifying positive interactions within the community
- Work closely with other teams to gather feedback, identify trends, and advocate for community needs
- Creating newsletters, social media posts and best practice guidelines
- Reviewing content from our community and offering feedback
- The Community manager's duties include other duties reasonably associated with the position. The Employer may change the duties as required from time to time
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, education, working with multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, branding, pedagogy or similar
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Empathy and a passion for community building
- Structured and proactive approach to work tasks
- Project management interest and competence
- Experience hosting offline and online events such as webinars
- Social media skills and visual content creation skills are an advantage
