Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in .Net and Cypress for a 6-month contract position in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with expertise in .Net development and automation testing using Cypress. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Conduct manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects and ensure their resolution.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and new features.
• Work closely with developers to ensure high-quality code through code reviews and automated testing.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong experience with .Net development and understanding of its ecosystem.
• Proven experience with Cypress for automation testing.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Experience with manual testing techniques and practices.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Certification in quality assurance or related fields.
