Role Description:

We are seeking a Senior Tableau BI Developer for a 6-month contract position in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Tableau, SQL, and Data Warehousing concepts. The consultant should have a public Tableau profile showcasing their expertise. Experience with Snowflake and AWS is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Utilize SQL to query databases, extract, transform, and load data.
• Implement and optimize data warehousing solutions to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
• Perform regular data quality checks and troubleshoot any issues.
• Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and best practices.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Communicate effectively with business users and IT teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions.

Must Haves:

• Extensive experience with Tableau, including a public Tableau profile.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in BI development and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with business users and IT teams.
