With three decades of experience as a general contractor, we're on the lookout for skilled Estimator to join our team. Our focus lies in handling small to medium-sized commercial renovation projects across Virginia. These projects are spread throughout Virginia, necessitating occasional travel and overnight stays.
Full Time Construction Estimator

We are looking for a full-time Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial construction industry and be proficient in using estimating software.

The primary responsibility of the Estimator will be to prepare accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects. This will involve gathering information from the project team, researching costs, and developing a budget. The Estimator will also be responsible for communicating with clients and vendors, and managing the estimating process.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices. They will also be proficient in using estimating software, such as Microsoft Excel and Primavera. In addition, the ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects
  • Gather information from the project team, research costs, and develop a budget
  • Communicate with clients and vendors
  • Manage the estimating process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Primavera
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
