Position Summary 

The Inventory Assistant (stocker) is responsible for supporting the Inventory Specialist in managing the retail store’s inventory. This role involves assisting with product intake, CCRS management, in-store inventory audits, product waste management, and stocking products. The Inventory Assistant will work under the direction of the General Manager. This position requires availability to work nights and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Stock and merchandise products in a timely, accurate and organized manner
• Assist with inventory, including maintaining accurate inventory records and controls in accordance with state regulations and company policy.
• Support the intake and preparation of products for sale.
• Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and help identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and company cannabis regulations.
• Assist in processing products in a timely and organized fashion.
• Create and apply accurate labels for products and display jars using computer software.
• Count and label products according to inventory tracking systems and processes.
• Help organize products in digital and physical inventories.
• Stock products on shelves and ensure they are properly displayed.
• Transfer products through inventory tracking systems.
• Assist in correcting inaccuracies in inventory tracking systems.
• Work with team members to keep all areas clean, organized, and compliant, ensuring an effective, efficient, and safe workflow.
• Ensure that inventory is properly handled and secured.
• Prioritize safety and security, addressing all concerns promptly and fostering a welcoming, courteous, and positive work environment.

Minimum qualifications 

• Basic product knowledge and a willingness to learn advanced product knowledge.
• Ability to interpret and apply state cannabis regulations.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently retrieve, transfer, input, and interpret data.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, G Suite, and inventory tracking software.
• Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a diverse clientele and team members.
• Ability to work without supervision, manage stress, and take initiative.
