Kaleida Health is Hiring a Patient Care Assistant - Student Nurse Near Williamsville, NY
Job DescriptionA Patient Care Assistant, Student Nurse is an unlicensed assistive provider of nursing care to patients at Kaleida Health. Provides routine nursing care to patients in a hospital setting and performs other duties, as assigned. Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Work is performed in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state, and federal authorities, as well as accepted standards of practice.

Minimum Or Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required. Current status as RN student in an accredited nursing program. Completion of one clinical nursing rotation. Basic Life Support required. A graduate nurse may be placed into this position temporarily after NCLEX failure providing satisfactory employee status until successful NCLEX results. Graduate nurse who has been employed in good standing but unsuccessful in NYS Board exam. May be temporarily placed in this position until successful completion of exam.
**For non-clinical positions and nursing support positions, internal and external applicants must have the core competencies and sufficient work experience to perform in the per diem position for which they are applying.**
Sign-on Bonus EligibleThis position is eligible for a sign-on bonus!
Salary Range$17.42-$23.34 per hour *Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.*
