Kallidus Technologies, Inc. endeavors to deliver quality construction service. We provide general contracting and design/build services for Federal clients within New England, NJ, NY, PA & MD states. Currently we have a requirement of a CQC Manager on full time basis.
Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), an individual within the onsite work organization who shall be responsible for overall management of SSHO and have the authority to act in all SSHO matters for the General Contractor at all times to perform safety enforcement. The SSHO shall have an experience Level as follows:
30-Hour OSHA certified for OSHA Construction Industry safety class with current First Aid and CPR Training/AED
Shall be able to demonstrate training in the areas of: PPE and Clothing to include selectin, use and maintenance; hazard communication; excavation; scaffolding; fall protection; confined space; health hazard recognition, evaluation and control of chemical, physical and biological agents.
Duties of the SSHO:
Prepare Safety Plan, AHA for each definable feature of work
Provide safety indoctrination to all construction site visitors
Ensure the accepted APP is carried out
Ensure all site personnel have all HTRW, asbestos and lead paint training and their PPE meets applicable OSHA/EPA requirements
Conducts daily walk through of the site ensuring work is being accomplished safely and occupational health is not compromised
Attend and participate in all preparatory and initial quality control phase meetings
Conduct weekly safety meetings for all workers
Conduct monthly supervisory safety meetings
Provide accident reports
Produce a Daily Safety Report of activities performed
Provide minutes for weekly and monthly safety meetings
The SSHO must have 10 years of demonstratable SSHO experience on Construction Projects or a College graduate with 5 years of Construction Industry safety experience on Construction Projects in supervising or managing general or industry construction (managing safety programs or processes or conducting hazard analyses and developing controls).
