Front Office Team Member

KamDental LLC is on the lookout for a highly organized, professional, and dynamic individual to take on the pivotal role of Front Desk Receptionist within our esteemed dental practice.

Serving as the first touchpoint for our valued patients, this role is integral to fostering a seamless and positive patient experience from the moment they step into our office.

Qualifications :

  • Dental insurance experience, patient education, treatment planning, Microsoft 365 proficiency, and open dental software proficiency is a must
  • Communication skills, positive attitude, great work ethic, leadership skills and a team player.
  • Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
  • At least 1 year experience in dentistry and Open Dental Software knowledge.

Benefits

  • Full Time position
  • Monday - Thursday (8 : 15am to 5pm)
  • Fridays (8 : 15am to 3pm)
  • Open 2 Saturday's a month (8 : 30am to 3pm)
  • Tier-Based Compensation (dependent on experience)
  • Estimated Salary : $18 to $25 per hour based on qualifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Smooth Administrative Operations : Efficiently manage day-to-day administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, handling billing and insurance inquiries, and managing patient records to ensure the office runs smoothly.
  • Exceptional Customer Service : Deliver outstanding service by warmly welcoming patients, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Effective Communication Management : Handle incoming phone calls, voicemails, texts, and emails with exceptional communication skills, ensuring clear and concise interactions.
  • Patient Check-in and Confirmation : Utilize Open Dental software for patient check-ins, form completions, and payment processing, facilitating a smooth transition to treatment areas.
  • Document Management and Administrative Support : Accurately scan and organize important documents while providing comprehensive administrative support including the preparation of routing slips and morning huddle prep sheets.
  • Patient Satisfaction and Follow-up : Actively engage with patients post-visit to gather feedback, encourage positive reviews, and schedule future appointments.

Must-Have Qualifications :

  • Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are non-negotiable.
  • Problem Solving : Agile in addressing and resolving issues as they arise, ensuring patient and operational needs are met efficiently.
  • Computer Proficiency : Must be adept with computer software, particularly Microsoft Office 365 (This includes Outlook, Teams, Excel, & Word), Google workspace (e.

g., google drive, google sheets) and Open Dental, or similar dental management software.

  • Experience in a Customer Service or Administrative Role : Prior experience, especially in healthcare or dental settings, is essential.
