A successful, high-growth IT value-added reseller (VAR) to business and government customers providing software, software, and services. We are looking for a part or full-time accountant who is responsive, enthusiastic, and flexible to help grow our business. Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to learn and adapt quickly to be considered for this role. Moderate training will be provided. You will be responsible for monthly financial statement preparation, financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable management, analysis, journal entries and reconciliations.

Other duties include:

· Overseeing daily accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.

· Posting vendor purchase orders and customer sales orders.

· Generate customer invoices.

· Month-end close.

· Prepare audit schedules, reports, and analyses for external and internal audit requests.

· Assist in special projects as required.

· Other accounting and finance responsibilities based on ability.

Qualification:

· One to three years of general accounting experience preferred.

· Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

· Intermediate Microsoft Excel.

· QuickBooks experience a plus.

· Strong detail orientation and proven ability to prioritize.
