Job Description:
As a Quality Technician at Kanak Naturals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products during the development and testing phases. This position involves working closely with the product development team to perform quality inspections, testing, and analysis to guarantee that all products meet our rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Assist in developing and validating testing protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and report test results, identifying any non-conformities or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures, results, and quality control processes.
- Support the implementation of quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure that equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or technical certification in quality control or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality control, product testing, or a related role is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and testing methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CAD (SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- A passion for sustainable practices.
