Job Purpose

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will master optimising and managing end-to-end supply chain operations. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to streamline processes, monitor inventory levels, and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. The position demands strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory levels, sales forecasts, and demand patterns.
  • Establish and nurture America's supply chain to ensure value for money and quality goods and services.
  • Place orders and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely and accurate delivery.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
  • Manage warranty claims to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and minimise lead times.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of logistics partners and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in the materials processing industry.
  • Experience in materials processing, equipment manufacturing, fabrication, galvanisation, and parts buying.
  • Licensed to drive forklift, telehandler, and warehouse crane.
  • MSHA or OSHA training.
  • Language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or French.
