KanEquip, Inc. is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Wamego, KS
You will contribute to our team by:
- Primarily responding to service calls in the field.
- Using your skills to diagnose equipment to determine repairs needed and/or recommended for continued equipment reliability.
- Performing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel repairs on equipment. Responsible for performing quality work and attaining goals for efficiency.
- Completing all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Promoting teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members.
- Providing excellent customer service and support and promoting further service and support in the field.
- 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, service technician, field technician, or heavy equipment technician.
- Mechanic Toolset appropriate for required work.
- Knowledge and experience of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle status
- Associates of Applied Science or Certification in Diesel Technology, Agricultural Power/Technology or Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology preferred.
- Able to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops/on service trucks
- Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends
- Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance
- Salary depending on experience
- Performance pay on billing efficiency
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates
