SEEKING: Delivery driver manager

Play an integral role in the success of a family owned local company that is committed to providing the highest level of service! An independent company, we represent FedEx as last mile delivery carriers in Springfield, Missouri and the surrounding areas. Managers oversee teams of drivers, providing training and support.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Driving and delivering daily to cover vacation and sick time for drivers
• Training, managing, and supporting delivery drivers
• Ensuring that all equipment is properly operated & maintained

• Ability to encourage, motivate, and hold people accountable
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Commercial driving and package delivery experience--This is a big part of this job. You MUST be able to handle the physical demands of delivering a route on a daily basis.

Starting Pay: $44,400-$52,000. Opportunity for advancement and/or higher wages dependent on performance and availability.

Job Type: Full time manager position.

• Class E license (required)
• Current DOT physical (will be provided if needed)

MUST HAVE:

• CLEAN DRUG SCREEN (pre employment drug screen required and RANDOM DRUG SCREENS DONE REGULARLY (absolutely NO recreational drug use, including legal THC/CBD products-- we operate under federal DOT laws)
• Excellent driving record--- no serious moving violations
