Location: South of the Lake Charles Area

Schedule: Working on site in a 5/10 schedule. as need it will go to 6/10

Pay Rate: Rate would depend on experience and is competitive with the Houston market

Start Date: Could start within 2 weeks of acceptance or when the right candidate is found.

Duration: Duration on this position will also be 2- 3 years.

Description:

This is a Lead TA Scheduler to assist in helping to create and compliment a TA team. Because this is a lead TA Scheduler position, they are going to need a strong individual to get started with. This person will need to have the communication skills to talk with high level management and help creating and building TA premises/processes. They will be starting from scratch so people who can help develop that turnaround philosophy as well as help initiate that process.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Education – (Associates degree, or BSc,) preferably in Construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years direct experience in Turnaround scheduling from a lead point of view with Large Turnarounds.
• Must have experience leading other planners and schedulers.
• Must have experience developing scope for Turnarounds.
• Demonstrated ability to understand a demanding, technical, and complicated Turnaround project execution program; and the ability to communicate issues to a technical and management level audience.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and communication skills.
• Proficient in creating Turnaround planning premises, processes and procedures.
• Proficient in SAP Project System module, and Plant maintenance Module a plus.
• Must demonstrate Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Power BI a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous positions as a TA Lead Scheduler over larger TA Projects or TA Planning Manager or Turnaround Manager
