Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.
The Senior Solution Consultant - Tolling will support new business development and revenue generation through market analysis, presales activities, proposal development, and thought leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of end-to-end tolling systems and technologies, familiarity with tolling project delivery expectations, experience working with tolling authorities.

• Market analysis:
  • Gain technical understanding of Kapsch technologies and systems
  • Analyze tolling industry trends and competitor solutions
  • Define market/client needs and requirements and identify product/service offerings for the North American market
  • Creating and executing go-to-market strategy for tolling
• Presales activities:
  • Understand our customers' business requirements and create business solution architectures
  • Support business development efforts, technical sales discussions, and marketing activities
• Proposal development
  • Assist with writing proposals and reviewing technical content
  • Support the end-to-end technical design efforts for customer bids
• Thought Leadership:
  • Represent Kapsch at industry trade shows
  • Deliver technical presentations

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of technical or consulting experience planning or delivering tolling projects.
• Experience with systems engineering process and documentation
• Demonstrate a high degree of technical understanding, analytical and strategic thinking
• Self-motivated and passionate about gaining knowledge and experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Commitment to actively support Kapsch values and norms
• Strong verbal, technical writing, and presentation skills
• Strong moral and ethical decision making.
