Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management:
- Generate and send out invoices to customers.
- Ensure all invoices are accurate and in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Payment Collection:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect overdue payments.
- Negotiate payment plans with customers, if necessary.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of accounts receivable.
- Customer Relations:
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to billing and payments.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payments.
- Compliance and Procedures:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounts receivable policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
